Dairy in future diets is the theme when Aarhus University invites researchers and industry professionals to the 2nd Dairy Science and Technology Symposium.

- Any future food system will only function if it leads to diets that are not only healthy and sustainable, but also affordable, safe for all, and accepted. We therefore need a holistic view on the food system, says Norbert Raak from the Department of Food Science, who is one of the organizers:

- This conference aims to bring the dairy science community together to discuss the possible roles of dairy products  in the future food system, where the primary aim is to supply nutrition to billions of consumers world-wide via a balanced and nutrient-rich diet.

The event takes place over four afternoons, from 13 to 16 June, in a digital format. PhD students are invited to submit abstracts for flash presentations.

In the mornings from 14 to 17 June, it is also possible for early career researchers from academia and industry to strengthen their knowledge of dairy science by attending a summer school. This event is planned to be physically in Aarhus.
